BEST BROWS AFTERCARE
How well you take care of your new Best Brows over the next 7 days will ultimately determine its healing, color
retention, final appearance and longevity.
WHAT TO EXPECT FOLLOWING YOUR PROCEDURE
Only apply coconut oil or grapeseed oil to the brows if or when your brows start to feel dry or extremely itchy after 48 hours.
Your technician will discuss this with you depending on your skin type as it varies.
Do not overuse the coconut oil as this may cause irritation and/or excessive scabbing. It's best to let them dry heal but if you become
uncomfortable you may follow the steps above.
You may experience minimal swelling. The following day your brows may appear darker or show some redness,
this is normal. Your brows are entering the natural healing process, the color will slightly fade throughout the next 7
days.
DURING HEALING PROCESS
As skin starts the natural healing process you may experience some minimal flaking and/or scabbing. Picking or
peeling any flakes or scabs can cause loss of implanted pigment and scarring. Refrain from touching the area.
We do not have control over your bodies healing process. You may need to powder and/or pencil even after the
healed results. Each time this procedure is performed, there is a possibility of scar tissue forming. This is universal.
The pigment will take less and less each time. This is a fact. Therefore, excessive touch-ups is NOT recommended.
If you are out in the sun a lot, have oily skin, use anti-aging creams, retinA/retinol products, acidic cleansers, natural
elements, regular chemical peels, or exercise frequently, your permanent makeup WILL fade prematurely. NEVER place ANY
chemicals on the brow area as this may change the pigment to an unwanted color. The better you take care of the treated area and follow the provided aftercare, the longer it will last.
Remember, no two sides of the face are the same. Perfection is our goal, but, note that nothing is PERFECT. We
do not use the that word when doing Permanent Makeup. They are Sisters, NOT twins.
AVOID CERTAIN ACTIVITIES & DON’T USE SOAPS OR CREAMS
Pools, Jacuzzis, tanning, excess sweating, facials and saunas should be avoided for a period of at least 7 days. Skin creams
and products containing Retin-A, AHA or any kind of acids must not be used directly on the treated area as they will fade and possibly distort your new brows. Sun block should always be applied to the healed area after the 7 days. (SPF 45 recommended). When washing
your face refrain from using soaps and creams on the area for 7 days. When showering or bathing avoid putting your face directly on the shower head stream. Keep them dry as possible for the next 7 days for best results.
TOUCH-UP APPOINTMENTS
You MAY require a touch up appointment which should be done 4-6 weeks after your initial application. This
allows your technician to reshape or augment any areas that are needed. A touch-up appointment is sometimes
necessary to complete the Best Brow procedure. Touch-ups are $150 within 4-8 weeks after the initial procedure.
You may require 1-2 touch ups and/or a color boost within the next 2 years depending on your lifestyle, skin
combination and sun exposure. A consultation would be required to determine rate for second touch up.
